Palm Beach Maternity Photographer | Des + Nate {Awaiting Baby}

Des and Nate are expecting their baby girl Kiyha in January. (How awesome/cute is that name?) Dad is a huge fan of nature and being outdoors so of course I had the perfect place in mind. I met Des, Nate and their two fun boys at a garden and we walked around for about an hour until closing time. They had to kick us out, I could have photographed this beautiful momma and her family all night. I can't wait to meet that little girl and play dress up for our newborn session! Congrats to you and your family, Des & Nate.

Palm Beach Newborn Photographer | Mason's Slideshow

I don't usually do slideshows for portrait sessions, but I couldn't resist. I think I may start doing it more often!

Palm Beach Family Photography | Julian is TWO!

Julian and I went on a nature hunt in the wet lands. We looked for imaginary rabbits, "eww bugs" and secret birds in the trees. Mom and Dad came along for the journey too and brought their pet fish who was pretty shy when it came to camera time.

Julian & Crew were celebrating Julian's second year of life by showing off how much he has changed since he was an infant. He's full of life, energy, and is such a happy little guy. Michele and Chris, you're blessed to have an awesome kid and I'm glad I could be part of the memory making.

West Palm Beach Photographer | Summer Lovin'

You show me love, I'll show you love. Sounds like a match made in heaven, huh? After a bit of down time, some mid day naps, and all nighter dates with me and handsome movie stars (okay... so I was watching movies, but I can dream right?) I decided I am going to dive head first into photography this summer. I'm enrolling in Fall classes and photography is going to be my lil love affair on the side until I reach my goal of being a Physician Assistant (5-6 years from now....)

Okay so here's the deal. You want free stuff? Well, I want to give you free stuff. There's no signing up, no contest, no rules. You talk to your friends who are going through moments that need memories (pictures) and you get a free session for yourself or to give to a loved one. It doesn't matter if it's a wedding, maternity, newborn, boudoir, engagement, trash the dress, singles profiles online, or whatever else you can come up with. If you think someone is in (or should be in) the market for a photographer you pass my info along and after the completion of their session you get one too! ANNNNND if that's not good enough, the friend you refer will get $75 off their session + a complimentary 10x13 print! Wooooooooo that's good stuff. You should get on face book and twitter and share the news so you can all start collecting on this madness.

Let do this!

West Palm Beach Maternity Photography | Michelle + Doug {Awaiting Baby #3}

How gorgeous is this family? I can't wait to see what baby #3 looks like, Michelle's first two look like models!

After a rain reschedule we had beautiful weather yesterday for our session. Michelle wears pregnancy so well and is stunning to photograph. They're expecting May 11th, but my birthday is the 25th so maybe mom can hold off a few extra days ;) Kidding!

West Palm Beach Photographer | Jo {Just Because}

If I had to guess, I'd say 90% of my recent clients tell me "I'm not photogenic" or "I don't know how to pose" so it was no shocker when Jo told me the same. I think we, as women, need to give ourselves more credit! We're beautiful and amazing and I do my best to photograph that in each person. I made Jo do some funny poses to break the ice and it worked - because when she relaxed she was fabulous. I showed her a few images I had taken as we progressed through the session and she was blown away at how beautiful she looked. I hate to be the one to break it to you Jo, but you are beautiful. ;)

I enjoyed our session, you were an absolute pleasure to work with!

Palm Beach Family Photography | Amy + Aiden {And Toby too!}

Amy and Aiden came from Ft Lauderdale fully equipped with their pup Toby, a friend to help, and jackets to ward off the cold wind. Lil Aiden was a popsicle but was still a handsome fella. We only shot off a few before he was ready for the heated ride back home in moms car. We'll go for round two in the spring!

Palm Beach Family Photographer | Olivia is ONE!

What a little cutie pie!  Olivia came to her session ready to rock, but would only let the paparazzi have their 15 minutes.  Fortunately for her parents, I got some cute pictures before my 15 minute window was up ;).

Thanks for hanging out with me Olivia, you were a doll.  Mom & Dad you better keep your eye on that one.  She's going to be a heart breaker!

Palm Beach Family Photographer | {Vintage} Christmas Mini Sessions

This year for holiday portraits I wanted to do something different.  I wanted to incorporate a set into my holiday mini's and I went with a vintage {with a modern twist} set.  The mantel was the piece that tied it all together, big thanks to my brother Matt for building it.  Once it was built I aged it to give it the look I was going for.  Then I set it with some fun props and called it a day.

Let me start by saying the radar LIED!  There wasn't any green on the radar, although it was windy and had the feeling of rain... I made it through 5 sessions without more than a light sprinkle, but on my 6th it started to come down hard.  We had to throw the towel in at that point.  There is a strong possibility of having another mini session day so if you're interested please contact me asap.  This may be the last year I do mini's.
