This year for holiday portraits I wanted to do something different.  I wanted to incorporate a set into my holiday mini’s and I went with a vintage {with a modern twist} set.  The mantel was the piece that tied it all together, big thanks to my brother Matt for building it.  Once it was built I aged it to give it the look I was going for.  Then I set it with some fun props and called it a day.

Let me start by saying the radar LIED!  There wasn’t any green on the radar, although it was windy and had the feeling of rain… I made it through 5 sessions without more than a light sprinkle, but on my 6th it started to come down hard.  We had to throw the towel in at that point.  There is a strong possibility of having another mini session day so if you’re interested please contact me asap.  This may be the last year I do mini’s.
