Greenville Wedding Photographer | Free Photo Booths!!

I've been hesitant in the past to set up photo booths at wedding receptions because I didn't want it to take away from the couple.  Recently I have had several brides ask if I offered it so when I had the opportunity to test it out and work out all the kinks at the LBD party, I took it.  The photo booth was a ton of fun for both my staff and the guests.  And kinks?  There weren't any kinks!  I used a simple set up that will occupy a small corner in the reception area and it will give your guests the chance to make some fun photos!  Most reception type photos are of guests eating or dancing, but this gives them a chance to goof off and show their personality in front of the camera with my fun props. :)

I am now including the photo booth with ALL my wedding collections, as a special add-on for you and your guests.  Most photographers charge $400-$1000 for this same add-on.  On site printing is available so your guests can bring the memories from the evening home with them!

Greenville Boudoir Photographer | Miss Michelle!

Hot, hot, hot!  Michelle is pretty amazing if I must say so myself.  She's absolutely beautiful, she's extremely intelligent and best of all she's an amazing friend.  She flew up to SC to help me recover from my surgery and once I was feeling up to it, I helped her out with a unique Christmas gift for her husband... a boudoir session!  She was fantastic in front of the camera and definitely made my job easy.

Michelle gave the present to her hubby last night and I got this message from her, "Doug got his present.  He said it's the best he's ever gotten!  Thank you, and he says thank you too!  He said maybe you can make him look good in pictures too! LOL"  Of course Doug!  He must have been bashful when he said that because Doug's a personal trainer, no flaws at all.

Here's a few from the session, of course there are some for his eyes only.  Sorry!

Want to have your own Boudoir session?  Check out the Valentines Day Boudoir Special I am offering Jan 9th to Greenville SC and Jan 16th to West Palm Beach Fl clients!!

Greenville Photographer | Tim, Becky, Logan & Lucas

Big Tuna & family came out to Greenville today to take part in my holiday special!  (You probably want to know why I just called him Big Tuna, right?  Tim & Becky are divers and Tim is on the dive team for Spartanburg.  Does it make sense now?)  Their adorable little men were so much fun to work with.  Logan, the red head, and Lucas, the blonde, will definitely be heart breakers when they get older!

Becky & Tim chose the Rock Garden in downtown Greenville for todays session.  It's been a while since I've shot down there and WOW for a Friday afternoon it was packed!  There were two other photographers there and a few families just hanging out.  It is such a beautiful area and very relaxing.  The boys played bubbles, rode their bikes and played some foot ball with their dad.

My fav from the session was the reverse choke hold, as Logan called it.  I love kids, they're so awesome to work with.

Anne + Jeremy:: Married! {The Garden House}

OH my!  Have you ever been to a wedding reception where the mom was dressed like a drag queen(on purpose) and dad did somersaults???  I HAVE!

I've been looking forward to this wedding all year and it was worth the wait.  Many thanks to Christy Miller for being my second shooter!  I'm glad you were up for this interesting wedding!

Anne and Jeremy started their adventure in a fairy tale at their ceremony which took place at The Garden House B&B in Simpsonville SC.  Everything was perfect.  They said their vows back and forth to each other, like a private conversation and no one else was there.  The love they have for each other could never be mistaken.  As their friends say, they were meant for each other and they can only hope to have a love like theirs one day.

Once the clock struck 6:00 the guests turned into animals, clowns, hippies and gangsters.  The fairy tale wedding became a Halloween party with some pretty awesome costumes.  Anne and Jeremys first dance was similar to moshing - I'm surprised I got a picture of them!  They were all over the dance floor!  Then it was dad's turn...  He did THREE somersaults during the father daughter dance.... not ONE... not TWO... but THREE!  I won't post that picture on here ;)

The event was catered by Elegant Gourmet Cafe & Catering and it was delicious!

When I tell you this wedding was like no other, I mean it.  But one thing it did have was a lot of love.  The love between Anne & Jeremy, the love of the family and the love of their friends.

Congratulations to you both and your families.  You two are fantasic!  Enjoy your honeymoon!

Greenville Family Photographer | Halloween Portrait Contest

I was expecting 10-15 kids today and only two showed up!  I was pretty disappointed because I was looking forward to seeing all the creative costumes everyone came up with.  Given that I only provided a 3 days notice I'd like to reschedule the free portrait session and offer it again on Friday the 22nd at 6pm.  If you're interested and WILL be showing up please email or comment.

My son Gavin dressed up as a cop and because I'm his mom.. well, he can't enter the contest but don't tell him that!  Brady came as a GI Joe from Toy Story and we got down on the ground for an army crawl, which he was a pro at.  Samuel was a biker and like all bikers he had the attitude to go with it.  He refused to look at the camera and when I played with him he tried his best to not crack a smile.  Well, haha Samuel I got a few good ones for your biker mom to keep!

Lets Go Cardinals - Lets Go! (woo woo!)

In the past, my lil man has played soccer but this year he wanted to play baseball.  Tonight they played and I snapped away.  Believe it or not, I was on the other side of a fence so the pictures were limited to certain angles.  If you see your child and would like me to email you the photo please email me at jenn@mirroredimages.net -- I'll be taking pictures again next Thursday, so if you'd like individual images of your child in uniform just grab me before the game!

Jones + Gillian:: Married! {Greer City Hall}

Tonight I shot along side of Ben Robi and I have to admit... it was pretty fun.  It was our first time shooting together and we didn't have a single glitch in the system! :o) .

We started off at a church in Greer where the couple had a beautiful ceremony.  The groom made a special entrance and danced down the isle.  Following the ceremony we headed to the reception at Greer City Hall for wedding party pictures.  I took the ladies and Ben took the men.  What a wedding party!  10 on each side! Whew... it was by far the largest wedding party I have shot to date.

Over all, it was a great night, a beautiful wedding and a lot of fun.  It was a pleasure to be a part of your wedding day and allowing me to create a story through my art.

Country Side Ride...

I have been eye balling a certain sunflower patch for over a year. Two years ago I was told there was a beautiful, full and bloomed patch but I could not find it anywhere. The following year I found it, but was about a week too late and they were all dead. But this year, I had my buddies that lived around there keep an eye on it and today I made the drive to photograph it. It's such a beautiful drive that I should take more often. Relaxing and scenic the whole way.

When I got there I found another photographer named Bill. He's from the west coast and is visiting friends here. The stalks were so high that I discovered a new found love for my jeep. I set up the tri pod on top of my jeep and shot away! Who would have thought it? I did some HDR and some single exposure. I hope you enjoy them and remember prints and gallery wraps are available in all sizes!

Spartanburg Photographer | Crazy, sexy, beautiful…{Milliken}

That's it... I've made up my mind.  I'm moving to Alaska!  This heat will be the death of me!  Today wasn't even in the 90's and it was so sticky out Tarah and I both were glistening.

Anyways.

Tarah is a beautiful and artsy 19 year old (almost 20!).  She's originally from Canada so that makes her my first foreign client! (ha.... if you call that foreign) She's in school to be a graphic designer and she has also taken a few photography courses.  Oh and boys... she's single. :o)

I've driven by this great graffiti wall several times over the last year and finally had a client that I knew would be perfect for it.  So off to Spartanburg we went.  The park was packed so after a few shots we moved to an open field near by.  Tarah was a great sport and made posing look effortless.  Despite the humidity, the gnats and the sun glaring down on us we managed to rock this shoot.

Sneak Peaks!
