Palm Beach Family Photographer | {Vintage} Christmas Mini Sessions

This year for holiday portraits I wanted to do something different.  I wanted to incorporate a set into my holiday mini's and I went with a vintage {with a modern twist} set.  The mantel was the piece that tied it all together, big thanks to my brother Matt for building it.  Once it was built I aged it to give it the look I was going for.  Then I set it with some fun props and called it a day.

Let me start by saying the radar LIED!  There wasn't any green on the radar, although it was windy and had the feeling of rain... I made it through 5 sessions without more than a light sprinkle, but on my 6th it started to come down hard.  We had to throw the towel in at that point.  There is a strong possibility of having another mini session day so if you're interested please contact me asap.  This may be the last year I do mini's.

Palm Beach Photographer | Thanks for Giving... Give away....

So much has happened both in my personal and career life over the last year.  I'm extremely grateful to all the amazing friends, family, and clients who have seen me through.  Photography has helped to keep my mind off of more pressing issues in my life.  It's something I could do all day every day and never get sick of it.  It's such an honor to be a part of your life, photograph your memories, and watch your families grow.  The biggest compliment you can give me is to refer a friend to me and I'm about 80% word of mouth.  So for that, I thank you.

The month of November serves as two events.  First, it's Thanksgiving (of course!) and second, it's the birthday month of Mirrored Images.  This year I will be giving away a session to one lucky individual.  Send me your story, your triumph, and your blessings and I will read it and choose one lucky person to give a session to.  Nothing is off limits here.  Wedding, newborn, high school senior, boudoir, maternity, etc.  You tell me in your submission what you're interested in and if you win, it's yours.

All entries must be received by November 16th at midnight.  Please email your story to shootme@mirroredimages.net and include your name, age, location (must be willing to travel to Palm Beach County), session interested in, and the best contact number.  Your story will not be shared publicly so please don't hold back.  Tell me why you deserve this, tell me what you're grateful for, and tell me what obstacles you've overcome in your life.

Palm Beach Child Photographer | Ella {8 months + Holiday Session}

Miss Ella!  I photographed Ella as a newborn and at 3 months and now again at 8 months.  To save Ella from the pain of having her pictures taken again next month we also threw in some Holiday themed sets.  I love brainstorming with moms (and dads) on what to wear and what props to incorporate.  Ella is a total diva and deserved to be photographed as one.  The sun hat, scarf, and lacy skirt were screaming South Beach Baby and I love it!

I still have time slots available for my mini sessions, so hurry it up and book!

Palm Beach Newborn Photographer | Adalynn {4 days new}

Oh baby!  I'm always on stand by mode when one of my expecting mommys is getting close to the big day.  Proud dad, Jared, phoned me yesterday to let me know they were home safe and sound and it was my turn to meet Adalynn.  Precious lil Adalynn only four days old was an angel.  She whined just a few times but no major melt downs. After an hour or so she gave up and gave into my photographic demands.  She's such a good baby, Jared and Sam you are blessed to have her and I can't wait to watch her grow.

Enjoy your sneak peaks, there's plenty more to come <3

Palm Beach Animal Photographer | My Brody needs help

My poor Brody :(

My son and I adopted Brody from a rescue last year, they guessed he was around 10 months old.  He's been the best dog I've ever had.  At the time we adopted him he had a clean bill of health.  It was time for his yearly vaccinations and I took him in and found out he has Heart Worm Disease.  This was found in a blood test and I was informed that it would only show up if he had the disease for more than 6 months.  It's transmitted to dogs from mosquittos, thankfully not contageous from dog to dog because there's two other dogs in the house.  If left untreated, he only has a couple years to live and it will be a miserable death, as his organs will shut down causing heart failure.  My poor boy has to go through a month of antibiotics (he's going to HATE peanut butter) and then injections.  He'll need to be on "cage" rest for a month after each injection because if one of the dead worms breaks loose from his heart and into his blood stream he could die.  I can't remember the rest of the treatment because it was all a lot of take in.  But I do know there are a series of shots and cage rest.  He's such an active dog, it's going to be a chore to keep him on cage rest.

The treatment totals around $1300.  To raise money to help pay for his treatment I am offering pet photoshoots for the next two months.  The sessions will be on location and I ask for a minimum of $50 donation.  Just call, email, or comment here to book your date.  Evenings after 6:30 and weekends are open.  Please use the "share" icons on the bottom of this post to share the info with friends on your social networks.  Thanks in advance!

Destination Wedding Photographer | Erin + Charlie {Married!}

You know I am in love with a wedding when I stay up after driving 12 hours just to edit sneak peaks... just sayin'!

What a beautiful wedding.  Everything from the small details, to the venue, and of course the bride.  The weather was perfect for Erin and Charlie destination wedding in Myrtle Beach this weekend.  09/10/11, not only their wedding day but their team (Gamecocks) won, nice wedding gift huh?

Erin and Charlie are a stunning couple and their wedding wasn't missing anything.  The fantastic DJ's (Mr. Entertainment) put on a great show and got the crowd going.  Definitely one of the best receptions I've been to.  Erin's family has a family tradition to do the gator crawl to the song "shout."  I've never seen this done so in between laughs I snapped some hilarious photo's of all the men (and Erin) going wild on the dance floor.

Big thanks to Kelli (redkphoto.com) for coming along to second shoot with me.  It was great working with you!  Also, HUGE thanks to my co-pilot for making the drive with me, I couldn't have done it without you.  We literally got in at 5am on Saturday and left at 6am Sunday.  I wouldn't have had it any other way; the wedding was worth every coffee, monster, and McDonalds stop we made on the way.

Congratulations to Erin, Charlie, and their new family together.  You both were fantastic to work with and I hope the memory of your wedding day will be relived each time you look at the images I've taken.

Whose ready for some pictures!?

Greenville Wedding Photographer | Amie + Lukas {Married!}

I flew into Greenville this weekend for Amie and Lukas' wedding.  Their wedding was beautiful, which made the crazy journey to Greenville worth it.  I also got to spend time with my parents so that was a ++++.

The couple had their ceremony and reception at Twigs in Greenville.  It gives me goose bumps when I see a couple love each other as much as this one does.  As Lukas waited for Amie to walk down the isle he was full of emotions.  When Amie started her walk she was also overcome with emotions.  It was beautiful to see how much love they had for each other!  Twigs set the ceremony and reception beautifully with their color scheme of green, gray, and white.  The toasts at the reception were hilarious and very creative.  Lukas and Amie have wonderful friends and family that truly love them and value their friendship.

Christy from Christy Miller Photography second shot with me and we had a great time, as always.  I love that lady <3.  Davey from Davey Morgan Photography came through to work my photobooth.  Ah it was fun!  We played in the booth and got a few shots of our team.  Photobooths are becoming very popular and are a great way to get fun and unique shots of your guests.  No alcohol needed! ;)

{My photobooth is included with my "Gotta Have It" package and is offered as an add-on with every wedding collection.  I also rent it out for weddings I am not photographing}

To Mr. & Mrs. Lukas + Amie Hopper:

It was a pleasure photographing your engagement and your wedding.  I am thankful that you chose me to document the beginning of your lives together.  May you have years of happiness, good health, and above all love.
