Ladies, let’s talk about Bae-Cations! I never knew how important this topic was until my most recent trip and it’s definitely something we all need to keep in our archive!

I just got back from Vegas so… Personal Post Time! My man decided to take me on a little vacation, among other things it was my BIRTHDAY! Wooo hooo! I was ecstatic for this trip, I planned out everything down to my outfit changes for the day. I was literally over the moon ready for a few days away with my babe.

This trip was more than I could have imagined. It brought us closer as a couple and made our relationship so much stronger. I didn’t think it was possible, but I love him now more than I did a week ago – and that’s A LOT!

Here is a little snippet of my trip!

We left on Friday night — unfortunately our flight was delayed but only by a hour so it wasn’t too bad. We just sat at the airport bar and got the party started! We didn’t arrive in Vegas until midnight (3AM our time) but that wasn’t stopping us! We went to the hotel, got ready and hit the town! The first stop on our adventure was to visit the stratosphere and the Sky Lounge — it was crazzzzzzy high up but so amazing! After a few drinks up in the sky, we hit up the Mirage and had some morning pancakes (by this time it was 530AM Vegas time). Once we got back to the hotel we slept for maybe 4 hours and then we were up and at it again!

Saturday we did a lot of site seeing and family time (we went with his mom and her significant other) gambled a little bit, had some delicious in and out burger and just hung out on the strip. We went to a delicious Italian dinner and then went to see a Cirque Show – KA! It was amazzzzzzzzzzing!

Sunday we woke up nice and early and packed up our stuff — we were switching Hotels. We then headed out to a delicious brunch at Excalibur! We did some Vegas sports gambling throughout the day which was great! Later in the evening, we had some great drinks and walked along the strip, visited the Eiffel Tower/Paris and just enjoyed each others company! We also got to see the Bellagio fountain show from up in the Eiffel Tower – Talk about romantic!

Monday was our last day and neither of us wanted to go anywhere! We spent majority of the early day over on Fremont street and at the Golden Nugget — there pool was too cool! Fremont street was a crazy experience but SO FUN! After that we went back to the hotel, got changed and did a little more sports betting. We then walked along the strip a bit more, saw the Las Vegas sign, went to the Venetian which was absolutely beautiful, and then unfortunately got ready for our flight home  **crying as I write this because I didn’t want to leave**

If you have an opportunity to take a little trip away with your honey, DO IT! Even if it’s only for a few days, it will definitely make a difference and bring you closer together! It doesn’t have to be an elaborate trip either, you can simply create a stay-cation right here in Atlanta.

Here are a few bae-cation trips that you can take without leaving your backyard:

Chateau Elan Vineyard and Golf

Azalea Inn and Gardens

The Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens

Barnsley Resort

North Georgia Mountains
