Eli:: Newborn! {Greenville SC}
As most of you know, Tiffany and her family have been with me since I started shooting again. Today we had a maternity session to capture the *end* of her pregnancy with little Eli. I had hoped to provide them with some amazing images but ... the sun and the shadows weren't on my side. It happens when you can only shoot mid day, Tiffany! ;) It's okay, we'll do another one if he'll hold out a few more days!
Siegfried Family Portraits {Spartanburg SC}
Just before I went on vacation I met Stefanie for some spring portraits and within a few hours of posting her pictures, her sister wanted in on the action also! So here you have it Dana! I hope you're happy with them!

Stefanie, Hunter, my assistant (Gavin) and me went to the Miliken property in Spartanburg today for spring pictures! What a beautiful, relaxing place! Only problem is... the time of day we went and the sun kickin our arse! Hunter chowed down on an apple lollipop, until mom took it from him :) .... Here's a collection from their session.
Trash The Dress… Military Style!
In November 09 I went with a group to the Marine Ball in Charlotte, NC and the idea of a Marine style trash the dress was discussed. We headed out to Campbells Covered Bridge and shot away... it was 35 degrees outside and unfortunately it cut our trash the dress session short but after a quick outfit change we were ready to go for round two. From Her Cowboy Boots to Her Down Home Roots…
Erica and I spent a few hours on the farm today for a photo shoot and it was a lot of fun. She wanted a classic red and white barn and that's exactly what they had. Cedar Ridge Farm is a great spot; they offer riding lessons, birthday parties and barn or pasture boarding. Bill and Larry were great to work with and very helpful! We ended up getting rained out of there early, but not before Erica played in the rain. If you look closely you'll see some rain in a few of the images.

They Got Nothin’ On You, Baby…
Lisa spent 5 years modeling but decided to put it to rest when she had her lil girl two years ago. Today was just as much of a treat to her as it was to myself. She is a beautiful, strong, single mother and I hope that I was able to bring her strength to these images.
The Trotter Kiddies!
I have wanted to do a portrait session in a wheat field for a long time and while driving home the other day I found the perfect one... when we showed up today it was gone! Freshly cut! But, no fear this is SC and there are plenty of wheat fields and we drove down about a mile and found another great spot. Poor Reece was sick with a cold, you could see it in his eyes but he was a trooper and they all did great!

Nicole... Nicole... Nicole... you did an amazing job today and it was a pleasure to photograph you. She told me she had never done anything like this before, I guess that makes her a natural!!

Lynn’s Birthday Treat
Lynn turned 27 last week and I cooked her up a birthday steak! But... she wanted more! We talked about the new lighting equipment I purchased and we decided to do a birthday shoot to celebrate her 27th year of life. Well, little did we know that we'd be the center of attention downtown Greenville. A marine who is deploying in 2 days stopped and asked if he could have his picture taken with her, he said "You are a very beautiful lady." Train operators hung out of the windows and made animalistic noises. We cut the session short and decided to choose a less populated area next time. But here is a shot from this session and additional images can be found on the facebook fan page. I love you girl! Happy birthday!

Yesterday I spent time with the Rochesters in Greer to photograph lil Samuels second year of life. Happy birthday Samuel (at least you got a cup cake out of it!)
