Cousin Love | Cumming GA Family Photography

I got to meet four cousins this past week at Poole's Mill Covered Bridge for a family photography session.  Their mom's did such a great job planning these outfits, I am super impressed.  Even their shoes were on point and matching!  The theme behind their images was geared for fall to update their family photographs before the oldest cousin goes off to college (his sister is counting down the days).  I love seeing so much spunk and personality from the little ones, I think mom has a diva in the making.  We definitely got some adorable candid shots but I'll be honest... they made my job easy.  Such a photographic family and absolutely no bribery was needed!

Being new to the area, I had not previously photographed at the bridge and I was actually taken back when I saw how many photographers were there.  It was such a cute park and really close to my home in Cumming GA but I'll be spending some time searching for new locations with a little less foot traffic.  Any ideas? :)

Only 5 days until my last limited edition holiday sessions of the season.  Want more info? Click here!

Palm Beach Newborn Photographer | Mason's Slideshow

I don't usually do slideshows for portrait sessions, but I couldn't resist. I think I may start doing it more often!

Palm Beach Photographer | Lorna {Just Because}

Lorna contacted me the beginning of the year for a just because shoot and we've literally been rain dancing and praying since then. Finally, we were able to make it happen this past weekend. We had our session at the beach and it was the perfect day for it, definitely worth the wait.

Here's a few from her session!

Palm Beach Family Photography | Julian is TWO!

Julian and I went on a nature hunt in the wet lands. We looked for imaginary rabbits, "eww bugs" and secret birds in the trees. Mom and Dad came along for the journey too and brought their pet fish who was pretty shy when it came to camera time.

Julian & Crew were celebrating Julian's second year of life by showing off how much he has changed since he was an infant. He's full of life, energy, and is such a happy little guy. Michele and Chris, you're blessed to have an awesome kid and I'm glad I could be part of the memory making.

West Palm Beach Photographer | Maternity Photography

About a month ago I photographed my brother and his wife with their lil Mason on board and I just realized I never blogged about it. We photographed their maternity session at the Polo Fields in Wellington on a friend of Lisa's property. They were fantastic, we got to use Buttercup (their horse) as a prop and had full access to anything on the property. They were awesome, thanks again! So here it is:

Palm Beach Newborn Photography | Emelie {10 days new}

So when I gave mom the low down on how to prepare for this session, she thought I was nuts. I can see where she thought that, because keeping a baby awake for an extended period of time is pretty nuts (especially when all mom wants to do is sleep!). But after the session mom was begging me to do nightly photo session of lil Emelie because she slept from 7pm to 12:30 am, ate and then she slept again until 6:30 am. I think it's safe to say I wore her out, but she was an excellent model!

Congrats on your beautiful little girl, Aritta. She's perfect.

West Palm Beach Maternity Photography | Michelle + Doug {Awaiting Baby #3}

How gorgeous is this family? I can't wait to see what baby #3 looks like, Michelle's first two look like models!

After a rain reschedule we had beautiful weather yesterday for our session. Michelle wears pregnancy so well and is stunning to photograph. They're expecting May 11th, but my birthday is the 25th so maybe mom can hold off a few extra days ;) Kidding!

West Palm Beach Photographer | Jo {Just Because}

If I had to guess, I'd say 90% of my recent clients tell me "I'm not photogenic" or "I don't know how to pose" so it was no shocker when Jo told me the same. I think we, as women, need to give ourselves more credit! We're beautiful and amazing and I do my best to photograph that in each person. I made Jo do some funny poses to break the ice and it worked - because when she relaxed she was fabulous. I showed her a few images I had taken as we progressed through the session and she was blown away at how beautiful she looked. I hate to be the one to break it to you Jo, but you are beautiful. ;)

I enjoyed our session, you were an absolute pleasure to work with!

Palm Beach Newborn Photography | Emma {5 days new}

Sweet, sweet Emma. She was born March 6th, making her 5 days new for our session (which was Sunday, on Sabrina's actual due date). Mom thought Emma was going to put up a fight, but after a good feed and some "shhhh" and head pats, Emma did just fine. She modeled my antique scale, new miniature wood bed (thanks to Mark!), a wire basket, and my pretty coral ruffle fabric. Grandma made a special request for a sleepy owl hat and after 3 crochet classes I finally got the hang of it and made it in time for Emma's arrival. It was a little big (ok, a lot big) but moms bobby pins came in handy and we made it work! She was perfect.

Thanks to mom and dad for allowing me to photograph such a big event in your lives. I can't wait to watch Emma grow!

Palm Beach Photographer | Charles Jamieson Law

I've had several local businesses contact me lately about head shots for new marketing material and/or web sites. I guess everyones in the midst of rebranding (I'm always in the midst of it....) It's not something I specialize in, but I'm willing to photograph what a client requests if I'm capable of it. Regardless of the session type, I always try to create an image that matches my style. This isn't your typical blue background head shot, its better ;) (toot, toot) I think it shows a more contemporary and approachable head shot.

Mr. Jamieson is a family law attorney in West Palm Beach and has been practicing for over 28 years. Based on my encounter with Mr. Jamieson, he is passionate about his clients and believes in the service he provides. He was easy to get along with and was open to the suggestions I had.

Here's a single sneak peak:
