I chose Mirrored Images because the beautiful images made me want to feel beautiful too. I was nervous, very nervous. Like many women, I hated my body and didn’t want to see ‘the ugly side of me’ in the pictures. Jenn showed me a few pictures along the way and it eased my anxiety and shyness pretty fast. The response to the images was WAY better than I expected, that’s why I bought them all! My favorite part of the experience was knowing I had proof that I am beautiful, contrary to the statements pushed into my head for years. I am STILL high on the confidence this session gave me, I am confident to wear what I want, see who I want, and believe them when they say I am beautiful. I will never be able to express what these pictures have done to help change my life. I look at them almost every day. I can’t wait to do it again and get a BIG canvas and ANOTHER ALBUM with their new awesome album covers.

Ladies: If you have ever thought of doing a boudoir photo shoot don’t wait, do it now!. Oh my goodness. My experience was so fun and so energizing! This is been on my bucket list for years(and looked at hundreds of photographers)! And finally I said what the heck I’m going to do it! And you know what? It was more fun than I ever thought it could be! For the entire shoot I was walking on cloud nine! I still haven’t came down lol! I feel so energized and empowered! Like most women, I have huge body issues. But Jen was able to focus on my attributes and help my concerns disappear! And let me tell you, I loved almost every picture! Ladies, do this for yourselves. Seriously. You will not regret it.
I have wanted to have boudoir photos taken for a long, long time. After having two kids, I have struggled “losing that baby weight”. I kept telling myself that when I’d lose 20 more pounds I would reach out to a photographer and schedule the session. I live a super busy lifestyle managing dental practices, a household, and my clothing boutique. With my busy life I have neglected to make the time, and I think I’ve dropped and put back on the 20 lbs three times at least. I finally took the plunge last Saturday. The entire experience, from the wine to the amazing hair and makeup by Staci Gibbs, the gorgeous lingerie selection, the music, the atmosphere, and Jennifer. Then there is Jenn. Wow. She eased all of my fears with a sweet smile and hug upon entering her fabulous studio. She was fun, energetic, professional, and so incredibly talented. She explained exactly how I needed to position myself for each pose and guided me through the entire photo shoot. I simply selected Jenn to do these photos for me because her website, social media, and blog stood out above any others I researched. After going through this experience, the “wow” of all of those things doesn’t compare with the personal touch she has on everything else. My husband still has no clue, as this was designed to be a Christmas gift for him. I got so much more than that out of this experience. I would be lying if I said that these photographs didn’t help to renew my sense of self. Of beauty. Of me. Thank you Jenn and Staci for this experience. It was worth every single penny, and then some. Ladies, whatever your reservations are about boudoir photos, I say look over them and find a way to DO IT.
I booked this boudoir session as a gift for my husband. This is something I said I’d do for him 3 years ago and didn’t end up going through with it. I wasn’t nervous until Jenn got to the house! I’m a photographer myself and used to being behind the camera. I calmed down once she started shooting, she knew exactly what she was doing and it wasn’t uncomfortable at all. The response to my session was better than what I expected, my husband was blown away. My favorite part of the session was the photos-they were stunning! I bought them all. I’d like to do this again. I have more ideas and you have a new studio space! To women who are on the fence: This is totally worth it- Jenn is awesome, very approachable and very professional. I wasn’t the least bit worried about running around in lingerie the whole time she was here. She knew how to pose me to make me beautiful and used poses that were not too risqué since this was my first shoot. She also incorporated my ideas, i.e. Husbands Harley, his plaid shirt. This was just all around a great experience. I’ve been married for almost 22 years, have a 19 year old and twin 17 years olds and they are all about to leave the nest. This definitely re-sparked my relationship with my husband again. And I feel like I have a new friend in Jenn!
I booked this session because I had gained some weight after having my son. I hit the point where I said enough is enough. I got a trainer and made it my fitness goal to lose weight, feel better about me, and to reward my efforts with a boudoir session. I spent about 6 months working on myself and losing almost 30 lbs. During that time, the shoot was my motivation to be my best self again. I was definitely nervous. I had never had professional hair and makeup done or walked around in front of a stranger half naked before either. Jennifer made me feel so comfortable. We went through the questionnaire together to confirm what parts of me I wanted to focus on and what areas made me uncomfortable. She went through my outfits with me. Everything was laid back like a girl’s night out. She helped direct all the poses so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The response was better than expected. I was amazed at how many photos I loved of ME! My husband loved them. Even my friends were super supportive and thought they turned out amazing. My favorite parts were being all done up like a model and seeing the beautiful end results at the reveal. I still keep looking at the images of myself daily and still in awe of the experience. My husband is proud of me for accomplishing so many goals as a part of this experience. I’m proud of myself too! I would say this is a must have experience. Add this to your bucket list and cross it off! We beat ourselves up so much and we don’t appreciate ourselves enough as women or as mothers. We are amazing as we are and what better way of showing it by showing that we can be powerful, sexy, fun, and vulnerable all at the same time. I feel more confident and sexy now. I can do whatever I want to do and I am my only limitation. Thank you so much for this experience, for your expertise, for making me feel right at ease, and for giving me something I can carry with me as a reminder of how great it is to be a woman inside and out!
Ladies if you have ever thought about doing boudoir photos Mirrored Images is amazing! I have talked about doing sexy photos for years but never had the nerve. I had my session and I was blown away. Jenn was awesome, she is an amazing person & a fantastic photographer! She is a pro & makes you feel so comfortable. After my photo reveal I left the studio feeling more confident, sexy & empowered. My response was, ‘that cannot be me!’ I am blown away by what you can do with a camera! I chose you because I have seen some of your work and think you have an amazing gift of photography. You are also such a warm and genuine person that it was an easy choice for such a personal decision. My favorite part was feeling beautiful, feminine and empowered at the same time. I love the way my husband still talks about the photos. He tells me ‘Now you see what I see when I look at you’. We bought a huge album. My husband could not decide which ones he loved the most so we got almost all of them! You and Staci were amazing to work with. You made you feel confident, beautiful and comfortable. I really enjoyed my reveal session and it was so special to share that part with my husband.

I worried that I would wear something that wasn’t flattering or that my pictures wouldn’t be as beautiful as the other women and I would be disappointed. The response to my images was SO much better than I imagined! To women who are contemplating doing this: Do it! Don’t even worry about the cost, I spent the same on my daughters senior pictures. I had an amazing 2 hour session and oh man was it amazing! It was so much more fun than I had imagined! She sent me a sneak peek and I’ll tell you, I’m extremely impressed with her talent! I mean, I knew she was good, but my pictures are really really amazing!! IF you haven’t booked a session, DO IT! You will not be disappointed in the least! I feel so much more confident now and I want more!
